Elisa Gatti worked from 2009 to 2011 as research fellow at University of Study of Milan-Bicocca being involved in a project on parenting and attachment theory. She worked with couples without children, couple waiting for their first baby and young adults.
Furthermore, she has been involved in projects with disadvantaged families and special needs children within a school setting.
From 2012 to 2015 she has worked as a self-employed psychologist in a private study in Milan, dealing with adolescents, young adults and parental support.
From 2005 to 2015 she’s been involved in a collaboration with the Neuropsychiatric Service for Children at Azienda Ospedaliera Salvini Garbagnate Milanese, where she dealt with psychodiagnostic assessment of prescholar and scholar-age children, counselling and psychotherapy for children and adolescents, as well as parents’ support and family therapy, dealing with different diagnosis such as anxiety, psychosomatic disorders, behavioural disorders and relational problems.
Since 2017 Elisa Gatti works as a self-employed psychotherapist in Hertfordshire, Hitchin, offering individual psychoterapy and parental support.
Elisa Gatti is specialized in family and couple psychotherapy, disfunctional and conflictual couple and family relationships, adoption, disability, separations, bereavement. Moreover she is expert in developmental issues, anxiety, psychosomatic disorders and behavioural disorders in children.
