Dr. Giuseppe Schillizzi – Consultant Radiologist in London

 

Work experience in Italy

Dr. Giuseppe Schillizzi graduated in Medicine and Surgery from La Sapienza University of Rome in 2011 and specialised in Radiology at the same institution in 2019. During his training, he gained experience across multiple imaging modalities, working at Policlinico Umberto I in Rome under the supervision of Professor Carlo Catalano. Following his residency, he worked as a Consultant Radiologist in Italy, with responsibilities in general radiology practice.

 

Work experience in UK

In 2019, Dr. Schillizzi joined King’s College Hospital, London as an honorary clinical fellow in the Radiology Department, working under Professor Paul Sidhu. From 2021 to 2022, he trained as a Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Radiology at Great Ormond Street Hospital, where he gained extensive subspecialty expertise in paediatric imaging across all core modalities. Since 2022, he has been appointed as a Consultant Radiologist with special interest in Paediatric Imaging at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. His clinical practice covers a broad spectrum of paediatric and adults diagnostic rediology, with active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings, educational supervision and research. He has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented at international conferences including RSNA and ESPR. He is also an active member of the European Society of Paediatric Radiology (ESPR) and part of its Abdominal Task Force.
