Work experience in Italy

Dr Arianna completed a Distinction master’s in clinical psychology at University of Padova (110/110 cum laude), a distinction master in Nonverbal Behaviour, a master in Group Therapy and a master in Couple Therapy at the Erich Fromm Institute of Florence. She also completed a First-class honours degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques at the University of Trieste (110/110 cum laude).
She is registered as a Clinical Psychologist with the UK professional body Health Care Professions and Council (HCPC, n.PYL042675) and with the professional body Ordine degli Psicologi, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy.
Dr Arianna Masotti has been regularly engaged working with young people, adults, providing 1:1 and group sessions in Bologna, Italy. Between 2019 and 2023, Dr Arianna Masotti has gained research and clinical experience across the private, public, and charitable sectors both nationally and internationally.
She co-facilitated art-therapy groups as a volunteer with the Charity Mind helping clients with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety, PTSD overcome trauma and difficult emotions. She has also conducted research on the beneficial effect of music in improving memory in Alzheimer’s patients at Middlesex University’s Department of Neuroscience.
In addition, she has written a paper on the therapeutic effect of art therapy as a bridge to communicate one’s inner reality to the outside world when experiences are untranslatable in words.
