Francesca Onori is a registered dietitian. She graduated in Nutrition and Dietetics at the Federico II University of Naples in 2006. She then completed her training in Human Nutrition (MSc), passed the advanced course in dietary management and the lo FODMAP diet in IBS at the king’s College University and became an expert in the exclusion diet in Crohn’s disease. Francesca Onori moved to London in 2011 and chose to work as an acute dietitian in the hospital.
She worked at the Central Middlesex Hospital in the geriatric, rehabilitative and mental health wards assessing and treating malnutrition, enteral fed patients and different diseases (i.e. renal, hepatic, pancreatic, metabolic).
At the moment, she is working at the North Middlesex University Hospital where she specialised in gastroenterology and endocrine treating complex patients with IBD (Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis), liver disease (fatty liver, hepatitis, and liver cirrhosis), pancreatic disease (chronic and acute Pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer), complex coeliac disease, gastroparesis, bile salt malabsorption, endocrine disorders (diabetes, PCOS, metabolic diseases, and cancer).
